Your new firm

Our client, one of the leading Insurance firms in the UK, is looking for a talented insurance litigator to join their team based out of their Bristol office. Working within the wider Property Risks and Coverage Team, with a specific focus on Property Recoveries and Defendant Personal Injury, this position would suit a technical and well-rounded litigator.

Your new role

The successful candidate will be both handling their own caseload along with supporting the team lead with their cases where you will be involved in legal research and investigations, liaising with insurer clients, and assisting with all aspects of the litigation process. For your own cases, you will have responsibility for handling them in all aspects, including drafting applications and court proceedings, and assisting with ADR, including mediation.

The team regularly engages with seminars and workshops, so the ideal candidate will have an interest in client development, strategy, and the delivery of seminars on technical legal issues.

What you'll need to succeed

You will be an experienced Solicitor or Chartered legal executive with previous experience in either Property Recoveries and / or Defendant Personal Injury Litigation and a keen interest in building client relations. A working knowledge and understanding of Household and Commercial recoveries as well as policy coverage will be required. You will have strong technical abilities, and also be a great team player.
