Property Manager
My award-winning client is one of the market leading estate agents in the area thanks to their excellent levels of service and the comprehensive range of properties they deal with. You will be joining a small successful team and need to enjoy working in a fast paced and customer orientated environment.
They are looking for a personable and resourceful person to join their team as a Property Manager, ensuring and providing a seamless service for our landlords, tenants and contractors.
You must be happy working with minimal supervision and be able to use your initiative to proactively, respond to changing priorities and conditions and be comfortable communicating with people from all walks of life, dealing with a wide range of properties.
Your main tasks will include:
- Working alongside the existing Property Manager to look after the property portfolio.
- Oversee referencing of new tenants, preparation of the property and paperwork for the new tenancy.
- Conducting check ins and check outs
- To arrange reactive and proactive maintenance work to the satisfaction of both landlords and their tenants.
- Arranging inspections, compliance and safety certificates.
- Conducting viewings and screening tenants, negotiating new tenancies to ensure a good match of tenant and landlord.
- Conducting house inspections and report on matters arisings.
- Arranging/booking valuation and viewing appointments.
- General office duties as required
Key skills
- Computer literate in industry type software
- Excellent telephone and written manner
- Personable
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Current clean driving license
- Knowledge of Landlord-Tenant Law (preferable)
Hours:
- 5 Day working week
- Monday-Friday 8:30-5:30 (8am start on Tuesday)
- Every other Saturday with a lieu day off in the week
- Share of bank holidays
Salary
- £25,000-£30,000
