This is a great opportunity to join an award-winning independent agent who have branches throughout the country. They are looking to recruit a motivated, enthusiastic and experienced Property Manager dealing with an individual portfolio of 130, of the 400+ properties at their busy retail, Oxford City Centre branch, where you will be joining a young and vibrant team of 10 people.

Full training and development will be provided.

Purpose of Role

You will need to be experienced in Property Management, have a good knowledge of Tenancy Law, Dispute Management and DPS Legislation.

You will be required to manage a portfolio of properties including:

  • Dealing with day-to-day maintenance as well as overseeing bigger works
  • Organising and ensuring all safety certifications are up-to-date
  • Property inspections
  • Preparing properties for occupancy
  • Work with and manage clients vacating the property, including deposit returns

A successful Property Manager for residential lettings is dynamic, professional and friendly with excellent communication skills. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining a customer orientated service and ensuring that service standards are achieved within company policy, legislative and regulatory requirements. You will need to be a problem solver with a get up and go attitude, be good at dealing with both clients and tenants and be well presented.

Essential Skills for the Property Manager include:

  • Minimum 12 months experience in the property industry
  • An analytical person who can communicate well with Landlords and Tenants
  • Ability to work closely with a team to ensure that you provide excellent customer service
  • Experience with Excel and general IT
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Effective diary management
  • Quick learner who thrives on attention to detail
  • Ambitious and a real desire to succeed
  • Proven leader with excellent problem-solving capability
  • Polished and well-presented
  • Full UK driving licence and your own car

Ideal Skills for the role include:

  • 12 months Property Management experience
  • If you are already a Property Manager looking to progress and undertake broader responsibilities
  • Level 3 qualification in lettings and property management preferred but not essential

Required skills to be evidenced:

  • Full UK driving licence
  • Knowledge of the property industry

Hours of Work

Monday to Thursday - 08:45 to 17:30

Friday - 08:45 to 17:00

Plus, a share on a rota basis, to cover out of hours emergencies alongside our out of hours partner organisation

Package

Salary £28,000 to £31,000 DOE
