A unique opportunity has arisen within an upmarket estate agency with a large network of offices throughout London and internationally. Our client is currently looking for an experienced Prime Property Manager to join their multi award-winning company at their office based in Little Venice. This is a beautiful and popular location in London, centred on an area of decorative houseboats and a tree-lined, three-way junction of canals.

You will be dealing with a portfolio of properties in Prime Central London, therefore, you will need at least 2 years’ experience within a property management role and dealing with high-net-worth individuals. Responsibilities will include:

• Prioritising and troubleshooting key maintenance issues (floods, boilers, leaks and appliances)
• The ability to scrutinise quotes on behalf of the client
• Consistently add value when sending an inspection report
• Seeking opportunities to upsell additional management services
• Negotiating deposit deduction in a fair and efficient manner, within required timeframes
• Understanding and delivering KPI’s consistently
• Setting and following up on tasks consistently to assist with personal management of issues, and to support colleagues in your absence
• Supporting Associate Property Manager / Team Leader with time management and team culture
• Understanding importance of leaving notes on RPS and attaching documents to letters folder consistently
• Differentiating between legal notices, offering expert advice to clients, and having good knowledge of compliance requirements
• Attending Local branch and participating in their morning meeting as per rota and fulfil inspection requirements
• Developing strong relationships with local lettings team in branch
• Maintaining regular catch ups with assigned Property Managers, including daily calls by 10am when Property Managers working remotely
• Conducting weekly feedback reports with Property Managers
• Reporting illness and lateness of assigned Property Managers promptly to Head of Department
• Adhering to department standards.

Key attributes:

• At least 2 years’ experience within a residential property management role
• ARLA qualified
• Strong knowledge of the housing act, relevant property legislation and arbitration process
• Experience progressing deposit releases, move in and negotiating tenancy renewals
• Experience working with high-net-worth individuals
• Be efficient in addressing maintenance queries and achieving successful completion
• IT literacy of the following packages; Windows, Outlook, Word, Excel and Property software
• Be friendly and approachable
• Full UK driving licence is preferred.

The basic salary for this role will be in the region of £32,000 to £39,000 depending on experience, plus a bonus incentive enabling you to earn £37,500 to £42,500.
