PROPERTY MANAGER /INVENTORY CLERK – Residential Estate Agency

Location: Bedford, MK40

Salary: £30k

Position: Permanent – Full Time

A position has become available for an experienced Property Manager/Inventory Clerk to join an established independent, local Estate Agent in the Bedford area with a thriving Lettings and Property Management department.

You will need have a great track record in Residential Property Management and Inventories and previously have been employed in a similar role.

You will be a real people person, be able to build and maintain relationships with Landlords, Contractors and Tenants and be able to show empathy and understanding: you must be able to problem solve effectively whilst staying calm under pressure – all the qualities that someone already in this role will recognise immediately!

An ARLA qualification or similar would be helpful, but the opportunity to qualify will be offered by the company.

Skills: The skills required for this Property Manager/ Inventory Clerk role will include:

  • Experienced in Property Management
  • Experienced in carrying out inventories
  • Understanding of current lettings legislation
  • Highly organized and able to prioritise work load
  • Problem solve effectively
  • High level of customer service skills
  • Good telephone manner and positive attitude
  • Ability to work in a pressurised environment
  • Full Driving License essential and own car preferred
  • ARLA qualification helpful or willing to work towards ARLA qualification
