Berry Recruitment are currently seeking a Property Maintenance person for a client based in Truro.

As a Property maintenance person, your responsibilities will include general maintenance of the buildings including undertaking small repairs.

Good communication skills are essential as you will be liaising with outside contractors on more complex repairs. You will be required to carry out works on your own with little or no supervision. Works will be carried out safely, with health and safety at the forefront when carrying out tasks.

You will be required to manage your workload throughout the day aiming to achieve all tasks set in good time. Your line manager will liaise with you and other members of the company to set daily task targets and broader work planning.

Requirements:

  • Full clean driving licence
  • Good Health and Safety awareness
  • 2 Year's experience of similar work
  • All round general maintenance skills, including general repairs, painting, and basic carpentry.
  • A can-do attitude and be able to demonstrate initiative.

This is a full-time, permanent position.

Working 40 hours per week, normally Monday to Friday. A vehicle is provided from the Company's office premises.

Salary is £25,000 per annum.
