Job Overview

We are currently recuring for our client who is seeking a self-motivated and professional Property Maintenance Partner to join their Property Management Business. This role requires a 'can do' attitude, flexibility, great attention to detail, and a strong commitment to maintaining high standards in property maintenance.

Responsibilities

  • Attend property-related maintenance tasks as per the job ticketing system provided by the line manager/team. This includes, but is not limited to, electrical and gas/boiler issues, painting, carpentry, carpeting, plumbing tasks, tiling, addressing damp issues, handling leaks, roof maintenance, and garden upkeep. 
  • Address waste management issues and conduct general project management for refurbishment/maintenance works. 
  • Order and collect stock from trade suppliers, ensuring all expenses/receipts are fully submitted to the company Accounts Team. 
  • Prioritise your own and your colleagues' health and safety at all times. 
  • Complete the company’s online and other related forms as per requirements. 
  • Carry out property inspections and maintenance checks on a weekly and monthly basis according to company standards, reporting and fixing health and safety hazards.
  • Attend mandatory staff meetings and supervisions with the manager / HR Business Partner. 
  • Undertake training related to the job role as per company HR Team guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Full UK driving licence (a must) and your own transport. 
  • Relevant trade qualifications in electrical and gas installations or maintenance / handyman. This could include a City & Guilds certification, an NVQ, or similar credentials. 
  • Gas Safe Registered or willing to become registered. This is essential for anyone
  • working with gas systems. 
  • Plumbing skills with demonstrable experience. 
  • Extensive experience in a similar property maintenance role, with demonstrate.
  • Proficiency in various aspects of property maintenance. 
  • Excellent attention to detail. 
  • Self-motivated with a 'can do' attitude and the ability to 'hit the ground running'.
  • Able to work both as part of a team and independently. 
  • Professional, positive, ambitious, and flexible approach. 
  • Willingness to take full ownership of the role.
