Property Maintenance Co-ordinator
Haywards Heath, West Sussex
£26,000 per annum

Our long-term clients are looking for a Property Maintenance Coordinator to join their busy friendly team based in Haywards Heath. Salary £26000. Hours are Monday to Friday - 09.00 – 5.00. Half hour lunch (37.5hr week) 25 days holiday plus statutory days. Car driver required as there may be occasional visits to properties (pool car available) 25 Days Annual leave plus Bank Holidays.

You will need strong administration skills as well as being a customer focussed communicator. Someone with experience of managing projects and juggling lots of tasks as the same time would be ideal.

Main duties:

Logging maintenance calls/queries from tenants
Liaising between landlord/ tenant and contractors to instruct for the work and obtain multiple quotes.
Chasing for quotes/invoices
Processing invoices
Checking works have been completed to a satisfactory standard.
Assisting with insurance claims if necessary
Liaising with landlord/tenant if compensation is to be awarded.
Managing/co-ordinating anything from a broken toilet seats to complete property redecorations/ kitchen or bathroom install/ garden landscaping/fencing.
Good communication skills with various customers (tenants, landlords and property contractors)
Strong organisational and prioritising skills
Good letter writing ability.
Awareness of tenancy laws and regulations would be beneficial.
Full clean driving licence to enable checking of works completed when necessary.
The nature of the work is often dealing with difficult situations and therefore need to be able to work under pressure.
Ideally looking for someone with some maintenance background & that can easily grasp maintenance issues.
Someone with a Property Management background would be beneficial.
