Role: Property & Housing Litigation solicitor
Title/PQE: Solicitor / 3 PQE - 8 PQE
Location: Birmingham
Salary: £40,000 - £70,000 + DOE

Here at Simpson Judge we are looking to speak with experienced Property & Housing Litigation Solicitors for a great new role that has become available with a medium sized national legal 500 firm, who have offices in some of the major cities across the UK including London & Birmingham.

You should be a strong and competent Litigation Solicitor who is experienced in running their own mixed caseload which comprises ideally, of Housing and Leasehold management files, with further knowledge of Property litigation across injunctions, possession claims, disrepair, service charge disputes, cases before the FTT and non-contentious matters such as policy advice. If you were to be successful you would work with a mixture of clients, such as, Local Authorities, Private Landlords and Registered Providers.

Your personal skills should be as follows;

* A minimum of three years post-qualification experience in the housing and/or
leasehold management and/or property litigation;
* Knowledge of running own files and caseload;
* IT literate to include Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet applications;
* Ability to prioritise workload;
* Ability to undertake caseloads with supervision appropriate to level of qualification;
* Ability to demonstrate commercial awareness and pro-activity;
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and the ability to convey clear
and concise information;
* Highly focussed attention to detail;
* Resilient and focussed;
* Determination to achieve positive outcomes
