Property Administrator
A leading Estate Agency based in Caversham is looking for a Property Administrator to undertake the following areas of work relating to Property Letting & Management;
We are looking for candidates who enjoy being busy, organised and self motivated. Also you are required to be a driver. You do not need Property experience but good Administration and people skills.
Job duties include (but aren't limited to;)
- Meeting and greeting general public and being of assistance to them in areas relating to the Letting & Management of property. This could include any/all of the following; discussion to promote individual properties available to let, arranging of appointments, viewings at property, offer negotiation
- Keeping of accurate records via OFFICE and specialist software programs
- Taking of enquiries regarding maintenance and accurately passing information to relevant colleagues to resolve such issues in the appropriate manner in accordance with records kept
- Visiting of properties, after training, to carry out house visits and creation of reports on the visits to clients
- Visiting of properties, after training, to create inventories of the property at the start of a tenancy and to check properties after tenants vacate.
- Review of tenancy agreements & rent levels sending renewal/rent increase documentation.
- Being of general assistance to the other team members in respect of paperwork, collections/deliveries out of the office as required
- Answering and making of telephone calls relating to Property Letting & Management
- Answering general enquiries made via the Internet, and email
- Filing of paperwork to keep files up to date as required
- Being available to carry out viewings of property, if needed, with prospective tenants (more likely to be needed on Saturdays due to staff rota of 1 in 5)
- General 'office’ duties - such as banking, post, locking up procedures, answering of general post, filing, assistance with advertising & arranging viewings etc
Salary is £26,000 to £34,000 to include bonus which will be introduced after your 6 months probation.
Hours are Monday - Friday 9 - 6pm and 1 Saturday in 5 working 9 - 5pm. The holiday allowance is 22 days. The office is closed on Sundays and Bank holidays and Saturdays on a Bank holiday
