Barnardo's Cymru Fostering Service recruits, supervises and supports foster parents across Wales to care for children who are looked after. The Service is seeking to recruit a PW1 - Placements Officer, to work in our busy team. The service benefits from an established, fully staffed and supportive team comprising of supervising social workers, a PW1, business support colleagues and a management structure. The PW1 - Placements Officer role will consist of giving consideration to the needs of children and how our foster families can meet these. The role will involve working closely with colleagues within the service, Local Authority placement teams and foster parents.
