This role offers the opportunity to work on a range of exciting projects!

My client has gained over 20 years' experience within their field as a leading provider in cable installations, associated civil, containment, LV & MV installation and terminations, cable jointing services and industrial electrical installation services.
They are currently in the market for a quantity surveyor with at least 3 years' experience. This role would enable you to work on a range of projects from the small and complex to the large and awe-inspiring. Opportunity to be involved in both office and site based input, who will seize opportunities for personal and business growth.

Responsibilities
• Reviewing tender documents, including bills of quantities.
• Assessment and valuations of projects and variations
• Obtain competitive sub-contractor quotations.
• Assist with purchasing materials.
• Visit sites to assess progress and compare to plans.
• Assist with site preparation activities.
• Identify areas of material and labour costs and provide input on ways to improve value for money.
• Provide input on ways to improve the companies environmental impact and waste reduction.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Experience of electrical to complement their civils knowledge.
• Take measurements and produce estimates.
