JR97: Project Manager

Location: Bromborough, Wirral

Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 Per Annum

Overview:

First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Project Manager on behalf of one of our clients.

Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Full project oversight .
  • Taking ownership of all tasks within the project.
  • Assist in further planning before and during projects.
  • Monitoring project performance, inputting where possible.
  • Ongoing review of staffing, budgets and project schedule.
  • Liaising among different departments, e.g. senior managers, suppliers.
  • Offer support to other departments and managers.
  • External to the business the Project Manager is responsible to the customer for the success of  the economic and technical planning, implementation, delivery and completion of a project

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Excellent in planning and monitoring projects with a minimum of 2 years marine experience in the field of project management.
  • The capacity to grasp the MST ethos and product range.
  • Attention to detail to ensure highest levels of performance & quality achieved.
  • The ability to communicate clearly with your team, directors and clients.
  • Good organisational and leadership skills.
  • ability to work under pressure.
  • IT Literate.
  • Have in depth experience in project delivery from defining specifications from customer  requirements to delivery of operations.
  • Understanding of HR/Quality policies & procedures within a manufacturing workshop.
