PROJECT MANAGER

NORTH BRISTOL (HYBRID)

Gi Pro are delighted to be partnering with a technologically advanced manufacturing company to recruit a Project Manager. As part of their continued growth, they are looking to recruit a Project Manager to manage the full project life cycle.

THE ROLE:

As a Project Manager you will be required to:

  • Work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Manage project activities from concept through to handover to production
  • Coordinate Design, Pre-production and Validation activities
  • Organise project activities including planning, organising, monitoring and reporting status updates
  • Create project timing plans and milestones
  • Regularly review progress against set targets
  • Ensure corrective actions are implemented to enable successful project delivery
  • Manage project changes, liaising with customers and colleagues
  • Identify improvement opportunities
  • Work in a cross functional team
  • Motivating team to ensure optimum performance levels
  • Travel domestically and internationally (15%)

THE CANDIDATE:

The ideal Project Manager:

  • Degree educated in relevant engineering discipline or equivalent
  • Proven track record of managing projects at component level within a manufacturing business
  • Ability to understand and interpret technical drawings
  • Background in NPD processes and DFSS tools
  • Excellent planning and organisation skills
  • Strong commercial acumen and business awareness
  • Ability to communicate and engage with people across all levels
  • PRINCE 2 qualified (beneficial)
