Project Manager

We are currently working with an established construction contractor based in Milton Keynes, who offer a variety of design and build services for various retail projects. This company is on the hunt for an experienced Project Manager to join their growing team.

Project Manager - Position Overview

• Discuss project requirements and specifications with clients onsite and over the phone.
• Carry out site survey inspections.
• Complete Site Audit reports on the system.
• Hire fitters and manage/allocate responsibilities.
• Create work schedules for fitters and ensure projects run to time and within budget.
• Purchase/hire plant equipment and materials.
• Oversee projects to ensure staff are working safely, productively and to a high standard.
• Monitor the project budget to minimise overspending.
• Provide progress reports to clients via phone, email or meetings in person.
• Negotiate with vendors, suppliers and subcontractors.

Project Manager - Position Requirements

• Project Management experience within the construction industry - experience in the retail sector is essential.
• Experience being client facing and dealing with individuals at all levels.
• Able to manage a wide range of projects.
• Dedicated to maintaining the highest quality standards.
• Proven leadership skills including managing, developing, and motivating others to achieve their objectives.
• A good communicator with an organised and methodical approach to completion of projects.
• Excellent electrical technical knowledge.
• Competent with Microsoft word, excel, project, access and power point.
• Must hold a valid Driver's Licence.

Project Manager - Position Remuneration

• £50,000 - £65,000 basic salary (depending on experience)
• Opportunity for hybrid working
