Our client is an established specialist fibrous plastering company based in South London, who carry out specialist finishes projects from the Commercial, Residential, Retail/Leisure and Restoration/Conservation sectors. They are recruiting an experienced Production Manager reporting to the Projects Director. This is an excellent opportunity to join a great management team with ambitious plans for growth.

??Salary: Negotiable dependant on experience.

?? Location: Bromley area - Driver required.

?? Hours: Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm with an hour break.

The Role:

Reporting to the Projects Director, you are a confident and driven Projects Manager responsible for the successful management of multiple projects to meet and exceed the customers’ expectations, managing customer relationships from point of order through to project completion. You will be working alongside an experienced operational team. You will be required to demonstrate excellent project cost and quality control, ensuring the successful delivery of projects in a timely and efficient manner. You will be responsible for the successful management of varying size projects, running several concurrently.

Key Duties:

  • Successful site management of Projects during the site deliverable phase and to work closely with the Projects Director and Projects office team regarding site status updates.
  • Ensure, working with the project planner that the project planning system is kept up to date and fully project compliant to key project milestones and specific project health checks.
  • Provide weekly signed off PSR’s to include RAG reports, to the Projects Director to enable him to monitor progress and any issues highlighted.
  • Ensure the successful management of site requirements including Labour, Plant, and Materials.
  • Ensure that subcontractors are being closely monitored and accountable for their performance against agreed schedules and budgets. Budgets, signed off by Projects Director will be provided at the Estimators handover meetings.
  • Attend weekly internal project meetings to oversee the successful exchange of project critical information.
  • Provide the successful management and good performance of projects to ensure customer expectations are met to maintain excellent relations and attract future business.
  • To ensure that all company policies in respect of Health, Safety and Environmental aspects are strictly adhered to.
  • Identify and report back to Projects Director on new business opportunities.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • As an experienced Projects Manager, you will have previous experience in working on complex, time critical, highly prestigious projects.
  • You will have a wealth of experience in the effective use of Project management tools and operational improvement methodologies.
  • You will have a proven record of managing risk, exceeding expectation, and delivering a first-class service to a demanding client base.
  • Excellent Project management.
  • Ability to understand project deliverables and report effectively.
  • Ability to operate and report up effectively on Cost / Time / Quality.
  • Effective time management.
  • Good communicator.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a methodical, organised manner.
