Project Manager - Shop Fitting

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our client’s team. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of project planning and execution. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards. This role will involve working with a UK retail Client and will involve travelling around the U.K with some overnight stays.

35K to 50K - depending on experience + performance related benefits & incentives.

Responsibilities / Objectives:

Visit sites the business is considering evaluating challenges to new store opening and dealing directly with client’s teams and managing the execution of the shop fit project.

Management of site staff - Good written communications, organisation and a good working understanding of outlook, teams, word, and Excel. Costing experience would be beneficially to this role.

Liaise with architects, agents, acquisition surveyors and retail colleagues to agree optimum store layout, finishes and any necessary enabling works.

Tendering the necessary shop fitting works in accordance with company guidelines and to secure competitive prices for projects.

Instruction of architects and other professionals for any necessary planning or other approvals required.

Instruction of the selected contractor and monitoring of shop-fitting to ensure the opening of the store to an agreed cost, specification, and timescale.

Management of any snagging items post store opening in a quick and efficient manner.

To attend meetings with colleagues to update them on progress in the new store opening programme.
