Project Manager OHL National Grid

Salary icon £450.00 - £500.00 per day
Location icon Leeds , West Yorkshire

We are currently looking for a Project Manager for a long term contract based either South Yorkshire or Scotland.

Staying away is required and will be based out of remote satelite offices.

We can potentially pay outside IR35, depending on the status determination.

Duties:

  • Oversee the design management process working with external consultancies.
  • Drive the planning and consenting process.
  • Manage commercial interfaces during procurement and subcontracting of civil works
  • Proactive management of large civil subcontractors when on site.
  • Management of civil construction teams on site
  • Promotion and management of HSE and site-based standards.
  • Manage financial budgets for the civil works on the projects and have sound input into forecasts
  • Provide regular ongoing reports on construction progress, budgets, man power needs, risks and quality issues.
  • Take a lead in resolving performance issues of internal or external teams.
