Imperial Professionals are delighted to announce that we are working exclusively on behalf of a global energy organisation to recruit a Project Manager on a contract basis.

POSITION: Project Manager (Engineering)

LOCATION: Wilton, Teesside

SALARY: Competitive day rate

LENGTH OF CONTRACT: 12months initially

ROLE SUMMARY:

As a competent Project Manager, you will manage multiple large scale projects at various stages through to completion in a timely, cost effective and safe manner.

DUTIES ARE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Lead the projects through the design phase.
  • Work with internal departments to ensure that stakeholders are kept up to date and their needs are met.
  • Positively encourage a culture of safety first.
  • Determine and define project scope and objectives.
  • Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress.
  • Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables.
  • Utilise industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution.
  • Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed.
  • Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement.
  • Manage risks to avoid delays or reputational damage.

TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE YOU WILL HAVE:

  • Demonstrable Project Management experience at a senior level
  • Strong Engineering experience
  • PRINCE 2, PMP or similar project management qualifications
  • Self starter who can work autonomously without supervision direction or control
  • Drive with use of their own vehicle due to the location of the client
