Project Escort: Multi-site

Your New Company
HM Prison Eastwood Park is a women's closed category prison, located in the village of Falfield in South Gloucestershire, England.

You will be mainly based at HMP Eastwood Park. However, this role is a multi-site role, so you may also be required to work at:

• HMP Leyhill, GL12 8BT
• HMP Bristol, BS7 8PS

Your New Role
In your new role as a Project Escort, you will be working alongside the operational security team. You will have many different responsibilities, which include escorting contractors as they carry out maintenance work around the prison, visitor and toolkit checks, main gate duties and vehicle searches. You will also ensure the safety of visitors when assisting them around the site, while making sure no unauthorised items enter the Prison.

Shift pattern: Monday - Friday 8:00-16:00
It is a temporary contract on an ongoing basis.

Your hourly rates are as follows and inclusive of holidays:

• Standard Premium: £13.56 hourly, Basic: £11.84 hourly.
• Weekdays & Saturday Overtime Premium: £20.34 hourly, Basic: £17.76 hourly.
• Sunday & bank Holiday Overtime Premium: £27.12 hourly, Basic: £23.68 hourly.

What you'll need to succeed
Your new role does not require any experience as full training is provided. However, a military or security background would be beneficial. You will need to have strong communication skills, be security conscious, and practical. In order to be successful, you'll also need to pass a security clearance procedure due to the nature of the role and provide 2 satisfactory references.
