We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Engineer - Field Based to Join a world-leading supplier of industrial sensors.

Ideally, you will be a 'hands-on', commissioning biased Project Engineer who will work on pre & post sales and project support such as installation, and commissioning for Autodent & Track & Trace products.

Key responsibilities for the Project Engineer - Field based:

  • Acquiring and maintaining knowledge of FA/LA (Factory Automation/Logistics Automation)Products and supply support for these products Carrying out onsite installation & commissioning
  • As a primary function. carry out preventive maintenance, support, repair, and breakdown visits as a secondary function. Both aspects will Include travel, stay away over night or, on Occasion, work at weekends
  • Carrying out all aspects of system installation, commissioning and support

Essential Skills, Experience & Competencies for the Project Engineer - Field based:

  • Minimum - BTEC in Electrical & Electronic Engineer or equivalent
  • Experience of working in a customer project environment with commercial awareness of project costs and timelines
  • Experience in commissioning using GUI (Graphical User Interface)
  • Experience of Auto Ident or Vision applications in the UK, desirable

You must have a UK Driving Licence.
