Project Engineer

Position Overview:

As a Project Engineer, you will play a key role in managing and coordinating various aspects of the project lifecycle. From initial planning and design to execution and completion, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of the project on time and within budget.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to develop project plans and schedules for tunnel construction.
• Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to identify potential challenges and develop mitigation strategies.
• Oversee the procurement of materials and equipment necessary for tunnel construction activities.
• Manage subcontractors and vendors to ensure adherence to project specifications and quality standards.
• Monitor progress and performance metrics to track project milestones and identify areas for improvement.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel.
• Prepare and present regular progress reports to stakeholders, highlighting achievements, challenges, and recommendations for optimization.
• Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in tunnel construction projects
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and equipment used in tunneling operations.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on quality, safety, and adherence to project specifications.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
