Project Engineer ATD Engineering

Deerfoot IT Recruitment is looking for an experienced and collaborative Project Engineer (ATD Engineering) to join our client's inclusive team. in Cramlington. This is a full-time Project Engineer role.

As a Project Engineer, you will be involved in aviation technology projects, focusing on the procurement, building, testing, and configuration of air traffic data systems. You will also handle the documentation, installation, and commissioning of these systems at customer sites. This role requires technical expertise, project management, and customer interaction.

During your first few weeks in this Project Engineer role, you can expect to begin work on some of the following:

• Prepare and produce project documentation as defined by the client project methodology and QA procedures
• Prepare and conduct FAT and SAT where required to obtain major milestone contractual sign-off
• Perform Installation and commission at customers' sites within planned timescales and within allocated budgets
• Deliver training and support as required

To apply for this Project Engineer position, your soft skills, expertise, and experience should include:

• Familiarity with system procurement, build, testing, and configuration and a background in engineering within aviation or a related field
• Experience in managing projects, adhering to timelines and budgets, and producing detailed documentation as per quality assurance standards
• Proficiency in handling technical software and hardware setups, possibly including direct installation and commissioning at customer sites
• Experience with tools like Freshdesk for support and service management would be beneficial

As a vital member of the team, and in return for your expertise, inclusive approach, and commitment, we'll provide a favourable salary of £30,000 to £32,000 and the chance to join a passionate and welcoming team.
