Our client the UK’s leading designer, manufacturer, and installer of bespoke physical security products are looking for a Project Design Engineer to join their expanding team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dedicated team and contribute to empowering organizations with cutting-edge security solutions.
 
Location: Dartford (option for 1-2 days remote)
Salary:    £40k - £50k per annum
 
About the Role: Utilise your technical expertise and project management skills to support engineering efforts and deliver client projects.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain records, CAD templates, and design standards
  • Produce client concept designs and technical product information
  • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure accurate manufacturing
  • Attend site meetings/surveys and assess modification requests
  • Create product/training manuals
 
Our Ideal Candidate:
  • Recent design experience in related fields (e.g., glazing, partitioning, shopfitting)
  • Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor 
  • Valid UK Driving License
  • Hands-on technical skills for product build/installation
  • IT proficiency (Microsoft Office Suite)
  • Positive teamwork attitude with strong communication skills
  • Excellent organisation and project management abilities
  • Highly technical with a drive to learn new products.
