The Senior Project Delivery Manager will work with colleagues to design, project manage and delivery the organisation design programme and its constituent projects and workstreams.

Programme management

  • Develop and manage the programme plan for the Organisation Design Programme
  • Ensure that the programme has robust management structures and processes including: delivery plan, risk and issue management framework
  • Manage the programme to deliver to agreed outcomes and timescales,
  • Highlight any risks in good time and working with the team to explore mitigations


Workstream management

  • Support workstream leads to manage their workstreams, ensuring that key milestones are achieved and that the required outcomes are met, this will include:
  • Ensure that each project has a logic model and a theory of change underpinning it
  • Establish a clear programme of work and set of deliverables,
  • Articulate outcomes and benefits that will be delivered (clinical, staff and financial),
  • Report on projects as appropriate, completing documents such as highlight reports and updating key meetings on risks and issues and escalating them appropriately
  • Set out clear timescales for delivery and resources required.

Meeting management

  • Support the work of the main programme board - Organisation Design Reference Group
  • Support other programme and project meetings as required


Other Activities

  • Support the development of the programme as required through consultation, recruitment, implementation, development of processes and workforce development.
  • support broader social and economic development within our area.
