Shorterm Group are delighted to be partnered with a leading Engineering organisation based in Gloucester with a global presence on their search for a Project Coordinator to join the team on a full time, permanent basis.

My client, a leader in their field have recently gone through a substantial period of growth and now boast turnover of over £100m, over 600 employees and 16 locations across the world.

Whilst they've experienced stratospheric growth they've never lost the welcoming, friendly atmosphere you get from smaller companies. Most of the employees there in senior positions started out their careers there & have benefited from the growth with endless promotion opportunities.

This role whilst it is a Project Coordinator would be working closely with the Engineering projects team, if you're new to Engineering, recently qualified, or just looking for a change of direction this could be a good opportunity for you to excel in your career.

You'll be coordinating multiple projects, supporting the Project Manager in reviewing technical documentation and project scopes. You'll spend most of your days checking in with various teams depending on the stage of the project, obtaining quotations and checking drawings/technical specs from clients and suppliers.

Logistics will also play a big part, as you'll be at the heart of the project operations, agreeing timescales, liaising with the manufacturing/engineering teams & clients/suppliers.

Ideally, you'll be from a similar projects background, used to coordinating projects both in house and off site. Experience in purchasing and logistics is a must, with high attention to detail & excellent communication skills.
