PROJECT CO-ORDINATOR

Pertemps Crawley are working with a leading provider of installation projects within the construction industry, looking for a personable, calm and detail-focused Project Co-Ordinator to join their team in an exciting time of growth. As Project Co-Ordinator, you will support Project and Finance teams and be a key part of delivering successful projects, on time, to scope and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Working as part of the project management team assisting with various project applications
  • Co-ordinating project management activities, resources, equipment and information
  • Assisting project management team with production of programmes
  • Management of small projects from order through to client handover
  • Document control
  • Responsible for tracking and creating material orders
  • Liaising with clients to ensure the highest level of service is provided
  • Monitoring project progress
  • Proactive production of regular progress reports
  • Liaising with suppliers, customers and sub- contractors
  • Updating and maintaining the engineers' diaries
  • Organising drawings and materials for issue to the engineers
  • Assisting in basic stockroom duties
  • Attendance at ad hoc meetings on site and/or external offices as requested by the Project Manager

The Person:
  • Strong technical aptitude, ideally from within the construction industry
  • Solid organisational skills including multitasking, time management and follow ups
  • An ability to prepare and interpret construction drawings, schedules and step by step action plans
  • Fast learner with the ability to work on their own initiative
  • Punctual and reliable
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Well-organised, proactive, assertive, well-disciplined and commercially astute
  • Proficient in IT packages; MS Excel, Word & Outlook.
  • CAD experience highly desirable

Working hours of Monday-Friday, 8.15am - 5pm and an early finish on a Friday. Salary of up to £35,000 (dependent on relevant experience).
