Project Architect

Our client, a growing architectural practice based in Worthing, are seeking a Project Architect to join their expanding team. The successful Project Architect will be working for a company that specialise in the design and delivery of a variety of projects, predominantly within the residential sector.

The successful Project Architect will be based from our clients' offices in Worthing. This company is growing quickly and has won a variety of projects recently so is seeking a Project Architect to come on board and work closely with the Director to take on design related tasks. Our client is seeking a Project Architect with at least 1 years' post Part III experience as the ideal candidate should be able to hit the ground running in this busy office. Residential experience would be highly advantageous as our client has a large portfolio & pipeline of exciting projects. The most suitable Project Architect should also be able to working alongside both internal & external stakeholders in order to make sure that projects are being completed on time, within budget and to an excellent standard. Our client predominantly uses Revit, so prior practical experience is essential.

Project Architect Position Overview

• Run projects from Inception through to Completion
• Discuss the ideas, objectives, requirements and budget of a project
• Work on a variety of residential, commercial and retail projects from small - large scale
• Assess the needs of the building and its users, advising the client on the practicality of their project
• Work in a team as well as individually at times
• Produce high quality design for a range of exciting projects in a variety of sectors
• Meet with professionals / clients to agree a project brief
• Maintain and form good relationships with colleagues and clients
• Use a mix of Revit and AutoCAD

Project Architect Position Requirements

• Minimum 1 years' experience as an Architect
• Highly motivated & strong work ethic
• Degree qualified & RIBA / ARB qualified Architect
• Residential experience highly advantageous
• Good knowledge of Revit
• Live within a commutable distance of Worthing

• Competitive salary (£40,000 - £50,000 DOE)
