Our client a successful company in the construction sector is looking for a Project Administrator to join the company on a full time basis.

Based in Chalfont St Peter you will work closely with Surveyors and other team members to organise and schedule allocated jobs.

You will need to be organised, a strong communicator and be able to negotiate with suppliers when needed.

Salary £26,000 fully office based, working hours 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday.

Duties:

  • Assist in negotiating rates with suppliers including historical sales records and inventory stock to obtain high quality products at the lowest possible price
  • Coordinate the allocation of both labour and materials for each ongoing project on a daily/ weekly basis
  • Acting as the first point of contact by telephone
  • Composing and understanding 'Risk Assessments and Method Statements for the beginning of the projects and Operations and Maintenance Manuals
  • Making sure purchase orders are in a coherent order
  • Responsible for phoning suppliers and making sure that all materials arrive as scheduled
  • Building relationships with suppliers
  • Composing an email for job texts to the entire work force on a daily basis and sending them out individually to each worker
  • Carrying out photocopying, filing and scanning
  • Offer comprehensive administration assistance to the company
