Cedar have partnered with a specialised Construction firm situated in East London who are actively seeking a part-qualified Project Accountant to join their expanding finance team on a permanent basis. Reporting to a Senior Accountant, this role presents an excellent opportunity for a PQ Accountant to advance their career within an innovative, industry-leading organisation.

Key responsibilities include:

• Overseeing forecasting, budgeting, and cash flows for multiple projects
• Initiating journal entries
• Conducting project reporting on revenue, profitability, and variance analysis
• Collaborating with finance, non-finance stakeholders, and commercial teams
• Approving purchase orders and supplier invoices
• Generating sales invoices
• Managing project payments

The ideal candidate will possess prior experience in a similar capacity and demonstrate proficiency in financial fundamentals, alongside an inquisitive mindset and proactive attitude. You will be actively pursuing a professional accounting qualification such as CIMA/ACCA or equivalent, with the ability to foster relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
