Project Accountant ERP / Power BI

Main Purpose of Role: As an Interim Project Accountant, your primary focus will be working closely with the Finance Manager and Assistant Management Accountant to drive various projects forward. Your key responsibilities include integrating processes within the new ERP System and streamlining the production of Statements for these processes. Additionally, you will collaborate with Operations to develop a KPI dashboard to showcase relevant data findings to be used to further drive efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Systems Management: Integration of manual processes into the new ERP system, including, but not limited to rebates, claimbacks, commissions.
• Financial Reporting: Maintain and streamline the reporting generated by new ERP system and ensure accuracy of statements produced.
• Process improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimisation and collaborate with finance and operations to drive these improvements forward.
• Data analysis: Assist with the development of the KPI Dashboard to provide analysis of financial data, to identify trends and opportunities for improvement (eg. Costing, sales and margin analysis)

Key Requirements for Role:

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with ERP Systems, preferably Business Central and Power BI
• Meticulous attention to detail, being high organised and methodical
• A collaborative team player

Preferred Experience:

• Part-qualified ACCA/CIMA accreditation
• Effective communication skills with various stakeholders
• Flexibility to meet deadlines and work independently
• Desire and motivation to progress within the company
