Rate: £635 - £675 per day via Umbrella

Duration - until end of year with view to extend

Our Financial Services client is looking for a Program Manager/Business Risk Lead to support their large piece of work around their newly established Entity and the need to further build out Conduct and Consumer Duty first Line activity.

Key Activities:

  • Perform and update risk assessments, maintain risk and control inventories.
  • Support annual control testing and oversee control efficacy.
  • Drive remediation of issues, incidents, complaints, and Annual Risk and Compliance Plan.
  • Ensure Business Continuity Plans are in place and tested.
  • Identify product changes with control impacts and ensure proper implementation.
  • Maintain Governance, Risk, Compliance (GRC) tool data.
  • Review conduct risk metrics and provide risk assertions and escalations to management.
  • Support regulatory and internal audit inspections.
  • Coordinate Governance Committees and Forums, provide management updates and reporting.


Experience Required:

  • 6+ years of program management experience across multiple workstreams/business units within Financial Services
  • Previous experience working on large scale risk programmes
  • Strong leadership experience, including interaction with various business leaders.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of drafting and reviewing key documents.
