Nuclear power is an important proven source of low-carbon electricity and heat to meet the growing demand for reliable, affordable and clean energy. As advocates for sustainable energy solutions, the Association are dedicated to fostering innovation and promoting wider understanding of nuclear energy worldwide.

This role will be a part of a dynamic, supportive environment where you will be responsible for developing a programme of activities, focused on the areas of economics, energy markets and financing of nuclear energy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dive deep into economic research and analysis to illuminate factors influencing investment in nuclear programs
  • Develop and implement strategic activities focusing on economics, energy markets, and nuclear financing
  • Lead the Economics, Law & Finance Working Group, driving projects forward with precision and expertise
  • Forge meaningful relationships within the nuclear industry and beyond, shaping the energy landscape through collaboration and insight
  • Craft compelling industry papers, policy briefs, and thought pieces that drive conversation and influence decision-makers
  • Stay at the forefront of global energy trends, providing expert analysis and thought leadership in your field.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • a strong analytical background in economics, ideally gained within energy or major infrastructure industrial sector
  • superior research & analytical skills, excelling at data-driven research
  • exceptional communication skills, able to convey complex economic concepts to diverse audiences
  • credibility & integrity to command the respect of a broad range of stakeholders
  • politically and culturally aware
  • experience engaging with financial institutions on infrastructure and energy projects would be a bonus

This role will be based at the head office in London but offers a flexible hybrid work scheme of 2 days a week in the office. Occasional international travel will be a requirement in the role.
