It is a multi-award winning and leading social enterprise located in Carndonagh, Donegal. They work across 5 main areas, which include young families, children, young people, adults and enterprises. They have appointed Hays to recruit a Programme Co-ordinator to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact on the lives of people living with disabilities. The role is for 37.5 hours per week.

Your new role
You will be responsible for liaising with 20 employers, organising 9 annual events and managing the Personal Progression Plan Manager, who will have responsibility for managing the initiatives in the plans of up to 250 people with disabilities. You will partner with service users, statutory groups, tutors, facilitators, training institutions, and other staff team members as required.
As Programme Co-ordinator you will report directly to the Manager of the organisation. In your position as Programme Co-ordinator, you will plan and implement a range of activities and programmes within the organisation's Workability Empowerment Programme. Manage the engagement with employers across a variety of sectors / industries. You will also be responsible for managing a team of staff, developing and arranging a variety of initiatives in line with the programme and you will develop and manage an annual calendar of events and workshops, including skills workshops, job networking events, disability job fairs and skill showcases. As Programme Co-ordinator, you will also be responsible for ensuring confidential information in relation to participants is updated on the database accurately. Evaluating the effectiveness of classes and activities using surveys, questionnaires, interviews and by observation, to plan for future programmes or to amend existing ones. You will provide information for reporting as required. Involve stakeholders in the design and management of the organisation. Ensure stakeholders are fully informed of services policies and any developments. It will be your responsibility to make sure all programmes are communicated as widely as possible to service users and the wider community.

What you'll need to succeed
As Programme Co-ordinator, essentially, you will have at least 4 years' experience gained as part of the programme co-coordinator function in a busy environment. Experience of planning, implementing, and reviewing programmes for individuals with a disability. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated leadership and change management skills with a continuous improvement focus. You must be highly organised, forward-thinking and strategy-driven. It is essential that you have excellent knowledge of MS Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
