The Opportunity

A leading Lloyds broker specialising in a wide range of policy lines, including Cyber, Professional Indemnity (PI), Directors & Officers (D&O), covering both UK and International business. They pride themselves on delivering innovative and comprehensive insurance solutions to their clients, ensuring their protection in an ever-evolving business landscape.

They are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented ProFin Insurance Technician to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in handling various policy lines, with a focus on Cyber, PI, and D&O insurance. This role requires expertise in creating slips, endorsements, market reform contracts (MRCs), and managing the entire insurance process from start to finish.

Responsibilities:

Policy Creation and Documentation:

• Generate insurance slips and endorsements accurately and in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Draft and maintain market reform contracts (MRCs) for seamless policy execution.
• Ensure all policy documentation is compliant with company standards and industry regulations.

Process Management:

• Oversee the end-to-end insurance process, from policy inception to renewal and amendments.
• Collaborate with underwriters, brokers, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth transactions.

Risk Assessment:

• Analyse insurance risks associated with Cyber, PI, and D&O policy lines.
• Provide insights to underwriters and contribute to risk management strategies.

Client Interaction:

• Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and address queries related to policies.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction with our services.

Compliance and Quality Assurance:

• Stay updated on industry regulations and compliance standards.
• Conduct quality checks on documentation and processes to maintain high standards of accuracy.

What’s needed for me to be considered?

• Proven experience in a similar role within the insurance industry, specialising in Cyber, PI, and D&O policy lines.
• In-depth knowledge of creating slips, endorsements, and market reform contracts.
• Familiarity with both UK and International insurance markets.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
