We are working with a leading international insurance company who are looking to add 2 x Professional Indemnity Solicitors to their Central London based team. Our client is an insurance firm that is in the process of starting an ABS regulated law firm to undertake professional negligence defence work.

As a brief background the insurance firm owns its own broker firm, and Insurance claims management business, an international Reinsurance vehicle firm and provides professional indemnity insurance predominantly to solicitors and IFA’s in the UK.

Our client’s goal is to further verticalization by establishing a law firm to reduce their dependency on third party panel law firms. The ABS will be led by their new “high profile” Managing Partner who recently started from a leading Insurance Law firm in London.

Working as part of this high-profile team you will work and assist with complex insurance litigation in all areas of financial lines and professional lines. Here you will work on a range of professional indemnity, D&O, FI, and coverage matters.

To be successful for this role you will be able to demonstrate a minimum of 2 years' post qualification experience handling insurance disputes relating to financial institutions, policy coverage matters and Directors' and Officers' liability.

This Lawyer will have the opportunity to join a newly established modern law firm, and who will have the ability to make a name for themselves quickly, and we anticipate that you will be given opportunities not normally available to them in much larger practices. You will also work as part of the group which encourages remote and home-working as a flexible employer.
