Professional Indemnity Associate & Senior Associate 

Due to significant expansion at their Bristol office, my client, a distinguished member of the Top 100 firms and a leader in the Insurance Litigation sector are looking for both a Professional Indemnity Associate (1-5 PQE) and Senior Associate (6+ PQE). As part of their expanding Bristol office, you'll be joining a firm that boasts a global footprint and a highly esteemed Insurance Litigation team.

Your Role and Responsibilities

As a pivotal member of the team, you'll engage in a variety of challenging assignments, including:
  • Defending wide-ranging professional indemnity disputes, especially against finance professionals, solicitors, insurance brokers, and construction professionals.
  • Navigating financial lines, W&I, marine, reinsurance, and cyber risks.
  • Tackling complex policy coverage issues.
  • Offering insurance advisory services, encompassing the drafting, and advising on binding authority agreements, claims handling agreements, service agreements, and TOBAs.

 What You Bring to the Table
  • You will be an experienced insurance litigator, ideally with a background in Professional or Financial Insurance claims, who is used to confidently managing strategic relationships with both insurers and insureds. You will be solution focused with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a larger cross-office team.
  • You will have experience gained at a City, insurance, major regional or leading international firm with strong experience handling clients in major insurance undertakings. 
  • Our client is particularly interested in individuals with experience of defending claims against lawyers.
