Are you a Production Test Technician looking for your next opportunity in the Hatfield, Hertfordshire area?

We have a fantastic opportunity available for a Production Test Technician to join our Client's team based in Hatfield, Hertfordshire, who are a world leading design and manufacturing organisation.

As the Production Test Technician in Hatfield, Hertfordshire, you will support the maintenance and development of test equipment to meet the needs of new and existing products in Production, which can include equipment, software, documentation, and ongoing support, to ensure continued test capability to meet production needs.

Other responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting a proactive approach to ensuring production test capability, including equipment maintenance
  • Complete minor repairs or routine maintenance, such as replacing probes/connectors/cables
  • Prepare and maintain test reference (gold) units
  • Complete routine installation updates of test software and operating systems (support IT)
  • Commission both new and current test equipment prior to production release equipment
  • Development
  • Develop and commission test software
  • Replication of existing test equipment for redundancy (risk mitigation) or due to increased production
