Production Team Leader
Production Leader
Location: Paignton
Hours: Monday-Friday/ 8am-5pm
Salary: £26k-£27k+ (depending on experience)
Start date: 1st of May
Acorn is currently seeking a Production Leader who will drive and lead the production team to improve processes and procedures. The primary goal is to provide structure to deliver a first-class experience across all products and channels.
Key responsibilities:
- Plan and oversee daily production activities to meet all KPI's such as plan production builds, prioritise builds, and raise build plans.
- Coordinate the picking of required stock and delegate builds to the production team. Ensure completed build plans are accurately recorded in the ERP system and stored appropriately.
- Attend meetings and communicate objectives to the team
- Maintain required stock levels
- Motivate staff through guidance, coaching and support
- Monitor staff performance and carry out disciplinary action when necessary
- Support the team by assisting the production line when needed
Essential requirements:
- Experience as a Supervisor within production or manufacturing
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Package
- Experience and familiarity with 5S and continuous improvement
- Strong leadership skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong organisational skills
- Experience of stock management systems
