Hours: Shifts - 3am - 11am & 7am - 3pm

Adecco Recruitment are currently seeking a Production Support Technician to joine one of our presigious clients based in Nottingham. You will assist in the manufacturing of radio-pharmaceuticals. The role will involve the packaging and shipping of Radio-pharmaceuticals in accordance with regulations.

The role will help to ensure that the requirements of radio-pharmaceutical production, Radiation Compliance, Health and Safety, Good Manufacturing Practice and licensing commitments are met.

Our client works with some of the world leading research organisations, pioneering new biomarkers and changing nuclear medicine for physicians and patients. With over 50 radio-pharmaceutical distribution centres across the world, our client is one of the largest PET (Positron Emission Tomography) biomarker producers globally. Our client is committed to developing innovative PET tracer technologies, thus helping to expand and advance the science of molecular imaging.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the cleaning of GMP clean rooms and laboratory's
  • Flexible in approach to work for manufacturing according to customer demands and business needs including some weekends.
  • Assist in facility preparation for MHRA and EA inspections where required.
  • Ensure adequate stock levels of consumables required for production are maintained.
  • Provide administrative support with archiving of documentation, materials control and other tasks where required.
  • Work with other PETNET staff to ensure alignment of operational processes and back up capabilities across all PETNET sites.
  • Operation of our cyclotron particle accelerator.
  • Preparation of Type A containers and regulatory documentation for shipment of radio-pharmaceuticals to ADR (carriage of dangerous goods) regulations
  • Routine shipment of dangerous goods in accordance with cGMP and site SOP's to ensure adherence to ADR regulations
  • Liaising with couriers and customers to ensure timely deliveries of radio-pharmaceuticals to customer sites.

Requirements:

  • The ideal candidate would have experience of working with ionising radiation, although full training would be provided.
  • Experience of working in a GMP pharmaceutical production facility
  • Good communication skills and experience in a customer facing role would be beneficial
