Role Overview:

We are now seeking a Production Specialist who possesses the ability to effectively follow departmental processes and guidelines, ensuring the Personalisation of Teamwear products are fulfilled to the highest standard whilst adhering to strict deadlines. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills and experience in the decoration of garments and previous knowledge and use of programmes such as 'Corel Draw’ and 'Adobe Illustrator’ is desirable.

What we need you to do as a Production Specialist:

  • Perform and document regular equipment maintenance of all Printers, Heat Press and Embroidery Machines. If any defects are found, repairs are to be made as required.

  • Follow pre-set processes, guidelines and sizes to effectively produce and print artwork for Production.
  • Ensure production schedules are followed, allowing deadlines to be met whilst retaining the highest standard of work.
  • Highlight concerns to Teamsport Sales in a timely manner.
  • Be present for any applicable training and assist New Starters as required.
  • Cover staff absence as required during peak periods.
  • Assist with any queries from Field Sales Reps to ensure sales are efficiently processed and confirmed.
  • Accurate inputting of data and orders into internal communication systems.
  • Monitoring issues with orders raised by other departments around the Company and assisting to pro-actively resolve any issues before the customer is impacted.
  • Take ownership and accountability of orders through to completion.
  • Maintain an up-to-date and in-depth knowledge of all relevant products and become familiar with competitors and their subsequent products.
  • Research Production methods and techniques to ensure the constant improvement of in in-house Production methods.

Your skills as a Production Specialist:

  • Knowledge and use of Tajima Embroidery Machines.

  • Proficient computer use and ability to learn new software packages as required.
  • Honesty, integrity and excellent communication skills.
  • A positive attitude with the ability to connect with others.
  • Prior experience of Microsoft AX, Sharepoint and Teams is desirable.
  • Self-awareness and the ability to self manage.
