Production Planner

A leading manufacturing company based in Merseyside are looking for a Production Planner to join their team. As Production Planner you will be responsible for executing efficient and achievable plans to production, working in a fast paced business with an excellent reputation within their field.

About the role:

• Use MRP to produce sequenced daily/weekly production plan.
• Consider factors such as capacity, material availability and line efficiency.
• Ensure customer requirements are achieved whilst balancing site capabilities.
• Identify supply chain risk and escalate when required.
• Create, defer or cancel production schedules as required.
• Produce medium term manufacturing plans.

About the person:

• Previous experience within a production planning role from within a manufacturing environment.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills.
• Strong MRP experience.
