Production operative

Stem Recruitment solutions are looking for a new assembly operative to join one of Livingston based clients. They are a leading manufacturing company dedicated to producing high-quality products for various industries.

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented General Production Operative to join the team as an Assembly Operative. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our manufacturing process, ensuring the accurate assembly of plastic components according to specifications. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail, and a commitment to producing top-notch products.

Responsibilities:

Assemble components using hand tools and machinery according to provided instructions and quality standards.

Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality requirements and specifications.

Operate machinery safely and efficiently, following all safety protocols and guidelines.

Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.

Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets and deadlines.

Report any issues or defects in products or equipment to the appropriate personnel.

Requirements:

Previous experience in a manufacturing environment

Ability to read and interpret assembly instructions and blueprints.

Proficiency in using hand tools and operating machinery safely.

Strong attention to detail and quality control skills.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet production goals.

Schedule

Working hours are flexible for this role! It is a day shift position working 8 hours per day and you can start between 6am-9am.

40 hours per week. Monday to Friday
