Production Technician

The Production Technician is key to assisting the Production Supervisor to complete tasks delegated to them. These tasks help production run smoothly and on schedule.

Essential functions and responsibilities:

  • Read engineering drawings to build electro-mechanical assemblies to a high standard
  • Provide consistent, high quality work
  • Perform automated test of various PCBA's
  • Record data for QA analysis
  • Visual batch inspection
  • Help to validate the quality of assemblies, metalwork, components and PCBA's
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment as per Health and Safety guidelines
  • Work harmoniously and effectively with our Operations teams and other departments

Knowledge, skills and abilities required:

  • Experience in building from assembly instructions, electronic or mechanical assemblies to a high standard
  • Experience with electronic assembly processes in a SME manufacturing environment
  • Ability to work neatly and consistently both individually and as part of a team, following defined production processes
  • Willingness to maintaining a clean, safe and professional working environment
  • Ability and willingness to work towards set targets and production deadlines
  • Ability to adapt and take on new challenges
  • Ability to read and understand basic mechanical drawings
  • Ability to use Microsoft office including Excel, Word and Outlook

Monday-Friday 37.5 hours per week 8:30-17:00.

Required skills

  • Assembly experience
  • either electrical or mechanical.
