Production Operative

Job Title: Production/Assembly Operative
Location: Caldicot
Salary: £11.44 per hour Hours: Full time. Monday - Thursday 8am-4:30pm Friday 07.00am-3.30pm

Here at The Recruitment Co we are recruiting a Production Operative for a company based in Caldicot.

Main Job roles:

• To convert, process or part process materials into finished seal able goods in line with drawings, specifications, instructions or process guidelines and within the timescales advised by the Production Manager.
• To pack and validate goods in line with provided documents and to load and unload transport vehicles goods received or dispatched.
• To ensure compliance with health and safety and other environmental or employment legislation as advised but the Production Manager or Facilities Manager.
• To immediately report to the Production Manager and incident or conditions which might give rise to a non-compliance with drawings specifications, instructions or process guidelines or which might compromise safety within the working environment
• To identify and implement improvements in the performance of your duties with a view to improve the efficient operation of your department / Function and the business as a whole.
• Other such duties which will facilitate the objectives and activities set out above.
• Other reasonable duties which you may be requested to perform from time to time by your manager or supervisor.
