Production Operative

Acorn by Synergie is currently recruiting for Production Operatives to work for their busy manufacturing client on a temporary-to-permanent basis in Runcorn.

This company recognises the importance of its people and is committed to the training and development of Operators; this could include progression to permanent Operator, Technical Operator and Line Manager level roles.

Job role will include:

* Weighing out of ingredients
* Machine operating
* Completion of paperwork
* Following SOPS to ensure the product is made to strict company procedures
* Quality Checking
* Hygiene duties

* Packing

* Palletising

Requirements:

* Manual handling experience
* Health and safety awareness
* Good communication skills
* A hands-on, can-do attitude
* Previous production experience, preferably in an FMCG environment
* Previous experience of HACCP would be a distinct advantage

The company operates a rotational 3 shift pattern:

* 6am - 2pm
* 2pm - 10pm
* 10pm - 6am
* 39-hour basic working week with all breaks paid

The rate of pay:

* Between £13.47 per hour and £14.21 per hour dependant upon job role
* Overtime payable at enhanced rates from £18.74 - £28.42 per hour
