Production Operative - Near Taunton (TA21 postcode), Somerset - Temporary to Permanent - Starting pay £13.82 an hour.

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting on behalf of their client for Production operatives to work in Wellington, near Taunton, Somerset on a temporary to permanent basis.


You will be working in a small team. The role will involve lots of manual handling and will be labour intensive for long periods of time filtering the materials through the machines duties will also include programming and operating machinery. Topping up chemical and fluid levels on the machinery. Changing the tools on the machine to manufacture different products. Fault finding and resolving issues to ensure the smooth running of production. The role will be varied as you will work on various machines and jobs within production.

It is noisy working environment ear defenders will be provided, and you will be working at room temperature


Hours of work:

* 40 hours per week
* Sunday to Thursday
* 10.00pm to 6.00am
* All of your breaks are paid

Rate of pay:

The starting rate of pay is £13.82 an hour which is a starting basic annual salary of £28,879 this will increase once you are semi trained and another increase once you are fully trained.

There would be regular overtime available which is paid at £20.73 an hour during the week and £27.64 an hour at the weekends.

All breaks are paid. There will be a pay review.
