Production Operative

We have an exciting position available for our client based in Houghton Le Spring. The company are a progressive business with sites around the globe.

The role will involve a variety of jobs including:

• General Manufacturing, and some Warehousing duties
• Machine Setting
• Inspection work
• Packing and boxing products
• Working from customer specifications - cutting and laminating materials
• Completing all required paperwork
• Following SOP's
• The ideal candidate will be reliable and able to work with attention to detail and safety standards
• Being a team player is essential since all tasks will require a close collaboration with co-workers
• Full training will be provided
• Heavy lifting involved

Experience:

• Must have manufacturing experience
• Must be reliable and have a can do attitude
• Able to follow procedures and comfortable with filling out paperwork

£12.45 for the first 6 months, increasing to £12.93 once fully trained.

The role is for a minimum of 6 months. There may be a possiblity that the position requires back shift working - this will be 3.00pm- 11.00pm.
