We are looking for a Production Operative to join an effective team, offering full support to the Team Leader and Shift Manager to ensure that production targets are met on time. The successful candidate will be expected to follow the agreed company standards and policies through the efficient running and setting up of all equipment and machinery.

Key duties of a Production Operative:

• Working as part of a team to ensure that production targets are met on time, per company standards.
• You will work with speed and efficiency on our production line to ensure that our products are of a high standard.
• Quality checking, meeting production targets, ensuring machines are running effectively and ensuring product safety.
• Ensuring product safety, particularly concerning essential CCP checks as part of HACCP system.
• You will have health and safety at the forefront of all actions, making the site a leader in exemplary health and safety behaviour and performance.
• Being a proactive member of the team, maintaining company standards.
• Operate within and support the company culture. Encourage and motivate colleagues to work as a team to a consistently high standard.
• Carry out all other reasonable duties to meet the needs of the business as requested by the Team Leader, Zone Manager, and the Operations Manager. Report all maintenance issues to your manager.
• Always keep your work area clean tidy and uncluttered.

About You:

If you have experience in a manufacturing environment that’s great, but this is not required for the role as full training is given. What’s most important to us is that you have a positive and resilient attitude toward work as well as being able to work well as part of a team.

Shift Pattern:

4 on, 4 off rotating shift pattern between days and nights

(6 am - 6 pm and 6 pm -6 am shift start/finish times)
