Production Operative

Straight Forward Recruitment are actively looking for Production Operatives for a vertical farming company near Burton-Upon-Trent. 

• Shift Time: 08h00 - 16h30 however we are looking for camdidates to be flexible as working hours may vary accprding to production schedule. 
• Pay Rate: £11.86 per hour 
• Interviews will be held locally - by appointment only.

As a production operative you will be required to carry out the below duties: 

• Washing of aluminium steel crates - using jet hoses. 
• Placing of wet mats into aluminium steel crates
• Manual lifting of trays - up to 20kg 
• Manual weighing and bulk packing of products 
• Daily hygiene tasks - mopping of floor, cleaning of processing area, general tidying 
• Preparing production line for processing 
• Packing of finished goods 

Own transport is essential due to location and shift start time.
